How does shipping and delivery work?

Shipping

Rainbow Mulch orders are shipped directly to your desired destination in 1.5 cu. ft. bags or 50 cu. ft. bulk bags. The bags are shipped on standard 48" by 48" pallets. Depending on the weight of your order, it may ship Ground, LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) or FTL (Full-Truckload). A quote will be provided to you prior to your shipment. An estimated lead time will be provided as well. If you have a desired delivery date or timeline, please share this with our team. 

Delivery includes curbside/end of driveway delivery with liftgate service for an easy delivery. The driver will lower the pallets from the truck using the liftgate. They will then use a pallet jack to move the pallets onto the end of your driveway or on the nearest curb. It is typical for a carrier not to deliver up a residential driveway, as this could be a liability. 

The freight delivery company will call to schedule a delivery window one day prior to delivery.
