The most widely used test method for fall protection is ASTM F1292 Standard Specification for Impact Attenuation of Surface Systems Under and Around Playground Equipment. ASTM is an international organization that sets safety standards for many industries, including playgrounds.
ASTM F1292 provides a critical height rating of the surface. This height approximates the fall height below which a life-threatening head injury would not be expected to occur. The fall height of a piece of equipment is the distance between the highest designated play surface on a piece of equipment and the protective surface beneath it. Rainbow Mulch is ASTM F1292 safety tested at three inches of depth for a 20 ft. critical height.

Playground orders for 12 cubic feet or less:

- Packaged in 15-lb. bags in large boxes.

Playground orders more than 12 cubic feet:
- Delivers in your requested packaging:
- Bagged (15-lbs. each)
- Bulk Tote (600-700 lbs. each)
- Ships on standard size pallets.
- Ships LTL (Less-Than-Truckload), or FTL (Full-Truckload).
- A quote will be provided to you prior to your shipment. An estimated lead time will be provided as well. If you have a desired delivery date or timeline, please share this with our team.
- The freight carrier will call to schedule a delivery window 1-3 days prior to delivery.
- Delivery is curbside with liftgate service for an easy delivery.
- Driver lowers pallets from truck using liftgate.
- A pallet jack moves the pallets curbside/end of driveway.

Orders are shipped via freight by a trusted third party carrier. We do not accept free returns, however we are readily available to address any concerns.
